The prices given above are for ‘perpetual’ licences. The prices in $, € and ¥ are estimates -please contact CPO Ltd for current values (payments can be accepted in these currencies). The prices include free help and advice on one of the user’s first simulations.

Some reductions in the above prices are available. The following multiplying factors can be applied -and if more than one factor is used simply multiply them together:

0.6 for orders and payments from universities, government research institutions and other non-profit-making establishments (the 'educational price').

0.2 and 0.3 for 3-month and 6-month licences respectively.

0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 for 1 -year, 2-year and 3-year licences respectively.

0.75 for 2D only (or 2DS only).

0.8 for a second licence, perpetual only, if ordered at same time as first licence.

0.6 for a third licence, perpetual only, if ordered at same time as first and second.

There are also more expensive versions. Multiply by:

1.25 for one of the 'special’ versions (perpetual licences only) for user-defined unconventional cathodes, scattering and stochastic scattering, 1.50 for two, 1.75 for three.

1.50 for the dielectric (CPO3D or CPO3DS) and neumann (CPO3D only) versions.

The expiration date of a limited-term licence can be reset at the end of the term for 30% of the current full price. The expiration date may also be reset earlier at the corresponding fraction of 30%. The cost of upgrading, including upgrading from earlier versions, is either (1) the difference in price plus the cost of resetting the expiration date of the present licence if applicable, or (2) 10% of the cost of version 7, whichever is the greater.

All the programs are in Microsoft Windows and all include a built-in pre-processor (data‑builder) and a comprehensive on-line Help menu. All the packages include a Users Guide, over 200 examples of data files that simulate a wide variety of practical systems, and built-in support for Windows XP, Vista and 7 (64 bit) .

Free ‘demo’ versions of the non-space-charge programs (with limited numbers of segments) can be requested from the Web page, together with comprehensive further information. Evaluation versions that allow more segments and have a 60-day limit can also be requested.
