The installation above gives a choice of 'Open' and 'Save' (or Run and Save on some browsers).

If you choose 'Open', the self-extracting zip file launches the installation automatically after downloading is complete.  Then you will find the icons for cpo2d and cpo3d on the desktop and in c:\cpo (or wherever you choose to install the program).

Click on cpo2d and follow the instructions.  If you choose 'Save' then you will be asked for the name of a directory that cpo.exe can be transferred to.  After the transfer has been completed click on cpo.exe.

CPO.EXE is a self-extracting zip file.  After installation, you will find the icons for cpo2d and cpo3d on the desktop.  Click on cpo2d or cpo3d and follow the instructions.

The ‘demonstration’ versions of the CPO programs are:

• CPO-2D For 2-Dimensional problems
• CPO-3D For 3-Dimensional problems

The demonstration versions will run most of the benchmark test and example files and can be used to obtain accurate answers for a wide variety of practical problems. They cannot be used for space-charge problems, or when the number of segments exceeds 250 in CPO-2D or 400 in CPO-3D. Other limitations also exist -the maximum number of different electrodes is 5 and only one magnetic field component is allowed in CPO-3D.
